What Hotlead reads

When you connect your CRM, payment or invoicing system, Hotlead uses it to deliver your leads and confirm which of them became customers.

Verified from your own data

A website click becomes a new lead in your CRM. We read the stage and amount of the deals Hotlead created, and a payment's or invoice's status and amount. Only when that shows a sale are you billed: a % of that sale. Websites never get access to your systems.

  1. website click → us
  2. new lead → your CRM
  3. won · amount → us
  4. paid · amount → us
  5. billed · % of sale → you

What we read

We read how your CRM is set up (its fields, pipelines and stages), the stage and amount of the deals Hotlead created, and a payment's or invoice's status, amount, currency, date and number.

Personal details

A payer's email and phone are read only to match the payment to a lead, and only a one-way code of them is kept. A visitor who fills in a short Hotlead form gives a name and a phone or email. If they tick the line that names your business, we pass their name, phone and email to your CRM so your team can call them back; until it is delivered we hold that copy encrypted, for 14 days at most. Otherwise your CRM gets a lead record (its number, industry and estimated value) without contact details. Either way, we keep the email and phone only as a one-way code.

Websites

Websites never get access to your systems. A website sees only the views and clicks on its own ad spaces, which of them became sales, the sale amount its share is based on, and its earnings — nothing about your systems or customers.

Connection keys

Your connection keys are stored encrypted, and disconnecting deletes them. A temporary encrypted copy, kept only to remove Hotlead's access from your system, is deleted within a few days.

Email campaigns

If you use email campaigns, we fetch your contact list on your request, show it only to you, and don't store it.
