Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to use Hotlead, including people with disabilities. This page says how the Hotlead website, the landing pages we host for businesses and the Hotlead portal are made accessible, what is still limited, and how to ask for help.
1. The standard we follow
Hotlead provides its service online: the website at https://hotlead-app.netlify.app, the landing pages a banner click opens (/lp/), the sign-up pages and the portal for businesses and website owners.
Israeli law, the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013 (regulation 35), asks for websites to meet Israeli Standard SI 5568 at level AA. SI 5568 is based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). We work to the newer WCAG 2.2 at level AA, which includes every WCAG 2.0 requirement.
Status: the website, the landing pages and the portal partially conform to WCAG 2.2 level AA. This means most of the content meets the standard and the parts that do not yet are listed under Known limitations.
2. What we made accessible
- Keyboard: every page, menu, form and dialog works with the keyboard alone. A focused item is always clearly outlined, and a "Skip to content" link is the first thing the keyboard reaches.
- Screen readers: pages have a clear title, one main heading and headings in order, landmarks (header, navigation, main content, footer) and the language and reading direction of the page (Hebrew pages read right to left).
- Forms: every field has a visible label, says what is wrong next to the field in words (never by colour alone), and moves the focus to the first field to fix.
- Pictures: pictures that carry information have a text alternative; decorative pictures are hidden from screen readers.
- Colour and contrast: text and controls meet the AA contrast ratios, and nothing is said by colour alone.
- Size and spacing: pages can be zoomed to 200% and read on a 320 px wide screen without scrolling sideways; increased letter, word and line spacing does not hide text. Buttons and links are large enough to tap.
- Movement: nothing moves by itself when the device asks for reduced motion, and every page that has movement has a "Pause animations" button.
- Videos: the explainer videos have captions in the video and a full transcript under each video; they never play sound by themselves. The short spoken guide clips show their full words on screen as text.
3. The accessibility menu
Every page has an accessibility button in the bottom corner (bottom right in English, bottom left in Hebrew). It opens a menu where you can make the text larger in three steps, switch on high contrast, highlight the links, use a plainer font, stop animations, and reset everything. Your choices are kept on your device for the next visit. The menu also links to this statement and to reporting a problem.
The menu is a convenience. The pages are built to be accessible without it, and it works together with your own assistive technology and browser settings.
4. How we check it
Our accessibility check runs on every change of the product: each public page, landing page and portal page, in English and in Hebrew, on a phone-sized and a desktop-sized screen, against the WCAG 2.2 A and AA rules of the axe-core accessibility engine, together with our own keyboard-only, focus, zoom, text spacing and reduced motion checks. A serious or critical finding fails the check and is fixed before release.
The automatic checks run in the Chromium browser. The pages use standard HTML and are built for current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari, on computers and phones.
5. Known limitations
- Card details for payments are typed into a form provided by Stripe, our payment provider, inside the Hotlead page. Its accessibility is Stripe's.
- The banners that businesses show on partner websites are pictures the businesses upload, with the text alternative they write.
- The explainer videos' captions are part of the picture, so they cannot be switched off or restyled; the transcript under each video has every word.
- We have not yet run tests with screen reader users (such as NVDA, JAWS and VoiceOver); this is planned. If something does not work with your screen reader, please tell us.
- Downloadable files we offer to website owners (the plugin package) are installation files, not documents to read.
6. Physical accessibility
Hotlead gives its service online only. We have no office or other place that is open to the public.
7. Ask for an adjustment or report a problem
If something on Hotlead is hard to use, or you need information in another way, please tell our accessibility coordinator. We will reply as soon as we can and fix what we can, and until then help you get what you needed in another way.

- Phone: 050-555-2725

It helps us to know the page's address, what you tried to do, what happened, and what you use (for example a screen reader, the keyboard only, or zoom).
8. Review date
This statement was last reviewed on . We review it whenever the site or the portal changes in a way that affects accessibility, and at least once a year.
